Best Western Plus Manvel Inn & Suites

"A pleasant place to stay. The bathroom needed attention hair was left in the sink (see pic below) not sure what to make of the tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion, but okay. Not enough for 2 people at all."

"Stayed here for 2 nights during a family gathering. Proximity to where we were spending most our time was the biggest factor in choosing this location. That being said, this Best Western was great! It was quiet at night and the room was in great shape. Our A/C was super cold, although the room adjacent where our travel companions stayed seemed warm and muggy to me (they may have set their A/C higher). The breakfast was just ok, pretty standard for hotel breakfast. They did have the Texas shaped waffle maker, which I always have to get if we stay somewhere that has one. I don't usually eat waffles or pancakes but always make an exception if they have the Texas shaped one LOL. The pool was surprisingly chilly for an indoor pool. I did not get in the hot tub personally, but heard firsthand it was very hot. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area."

"Loved this hotel. Lovely lady behind front desk. Our room was large and spacious. Air con great. Great selection of TV channels. Nice little gym with small amount of machines to get your heart rate up. Heated swimming pool with hot tub. Breakfast was great and replenished as staff kept monitoring it. Waffles, pastries, yogurt, bagels, biscuits and gravy. Coffee and juice options. Overall, definitely be back."

"Spacious Suites! The rooms make you feel like you're staying in a real house- they are fully furnished, and very spacious! The hotel has a working indoor hot tub and pool that are very clean! The breakfast was complete with all options. This is the first hotel I've been to that had whole milk as an option instead of only 2%. As a souther girl, I was happy to find biscuits & gravy on the menu! They have a multi option coffee, expresso, cappacinno machine! The entire hotel smelt nice and looked brand new. We will be staying here for all our future visits to the Southern Houston area!"

"I had family in town an I went to this hotel to book a room for my one of my sister’s of the church. The guy was kinda rude and he made it implied that we could not afford to stay. He was giving all types of prices. Which we felt was a bit much. If we did that think it was late. We would have went somewhere else. The fact that he would come up to the room to make sure who’s in the room. I told I have a house and it was for single mom and her kids. I asked for the name and it was not given. This is 2023 and we are still acting this way. Unacceptable"
