"Lived here few years. I'm gonna say what has crossed minds and give a heads up to anyone wanting to move here. Sullivans is more expensive than Walmart, but our only grocery store besides a new Dg Market made this year (2023) also pro-tip their pizza rolls are cheaper at DG and DG has better soda deals. There are only 4 places to order. Marchellonis being the basic $ Silicys being $$ (opening at 4pm for what ever reason??) And the best pizza Rosattis for $$$ Casey's is also $ Gas is fine, Shell is better gas in my opinon but the employees at Clark's are very kind people, especially the young accented man. Roadranger is out of the way , never tried their gas but they're 24/7 and Casey's is also 24/7 Food wise, don't get a mcdonalds burger just order from Ziggys, the mushroom and Swiss slaps and its fresh, and Ziggys has food ready in 10-15 minutes. Parkway is also amazing and budget friendly, awesome people, and the little Mexican restaurant NOT EL ZARAPE is decent, I don't like El Zarape except the alcohol, food is $$$ and bland. China house is good for the buck, language barrier possible. Speaking of there is a language barrier at the little Mexican place, too. The Taco Bell and KFC are as to expect. I like them. Roadranger mcdonalds on 12 Ave is better then 13 Ave, ask them to make fresh food they will, no complaint. 13 Ave can be sassy but the manager is great when they are in a good mood. Town I love how traffic is always nonexistent. But when everything closes at 9pm or 10pm its annoying for night owls. The people are kind and it's awesome. I came from north aurora and it's 1000000x better than there. Pet stores We don't have any, what we had burnt down, you'll have to go to peru for petsmart. Library is nice, cheap prints, basic needs. Usps is awesome and quick, but don't buy bubble wrap there, just go to peru home depot it's cheaper... Apartments Cheap, cheapest you'll find, good stuff."
