Marymont Apartments

"From a Former Resident, my family and I lived here for 13 years. Now after that Feb 2021 freeze which burst the pipes and bc of the poor insulation from this 1980's made apartment, it was a horrible experience sittingin the cold apt with no running water, took 2 weeks to fix the pipes. Shortly after that management changed again and this big company was kicking off long term residents so they could make more money and raise the prices, instead of us renewing our lease we were given "two notices", the first one they never gave us and the second one was just taped to our door saying we had to move out in 2 weeks. Mind you we weren't given a chance to discuss in further detail and say hey we want to renew our lease with you, the management was like "you need to get out by 2 weeks". Also we did pay rent on time through the online portal and we weren't troublemakers or complaining all the time. Now Ive seen the posts about towing, yes be careful they dont care and you will get towed. Although parking gets full late at night so dont park in visitors spot or you will get towed. The inside appliances, yes they are old and management refuses to change them! Dealt with this issue in the 13 years we stayed and only got one thing replaced the oven. About the pest control he comes every 2 weeks in Thursday altho sometimes like in another review said they dont come at that two week mark. So if your planning to rent here you have been warned!"

"I have called 3 days and no answer. No callback or anything. Does anyone work here? Update on living here. I moved in back in April and I regret it. The roaches are so bad. They crawl on me in my sleep. The office is always closed and there meters need to be checked. I should not be paying $150 bill when I keep my air on 77. I wish they will address the meters and the roach problem. I would not move here if you're looking. I'm waiting for my lease to be up so I can run away."

"600 electric bill for a two bedroom apartment and projected more for next month. Ac units are not maintained among other things like the pool, and dog areas. The complex sends out emails once a month to remind residents on how to lower their electric bills. The bills are high due to lack of maintenance. The appliances are out dated and the apartments aren’t kept up very well which causes high energy bills. Save your money and get a nicer place bc you’ll wind up spending that anyway. Office does not return calls or messages. They let a huge tree branch sit on top of someone’s car for an entire weekend and responded to the messages I left Saturday on Monday stating that they had to wait on their landscape people to come out and take care of it. The complex has changed management 3 times since August of 2021. It’s not what it was when we moved in. Hopefully they’ll see this and make the necessary changes to make it worth while for residents to continue to live here."

"I wanna know who's giving these people 5 star reviews here's my honest opinion. First of quiet place and the maintenance tries with what they have. Seems to be always different because someone is either been let go or fired. Speaking of staff don't bother going to the office place is closed most the times and it's hard to catch them over the phone. Parking is semi great but have a huge problem with towing they "DO NOT AND WILL NOT CARE." Be prepared to be towed for little things. I honestly think they are working together don't believe me check the reviews the real ones the ones stars it's all the same complaint. Lastly roaches the pest control your paying for doesn't show up enough and with the heat I've seen more and more of them I do my part by cleaning the best I can and purchasing my own poison but with all that combined its not enough get ready for a turf war with them."
