"Bath tub was slippery and no carpeting anywhere, so nothing to exsorb sound. Good Mexican restaurant with a bar next door."

"Solid hotel if you just need a place to sleep. Not to good with a group. They would only let us have 1 towel set(bath towel, wash cloth, and hand towel) per person. Hard for the girls to dry their hair after a shower. They had an okay breakfast 2 sugary cereals, oat meal packets. Single pack smallish honey buns and cinnamon rolls. They did have coffee and hot chocolate packets. The really bad was our top lock was broken. Only 30 minutes to the Texas Renaissance Festival."

"Personally I think the place sucked. Just stayed 1 night. Bathroom was only half cleaned up. Beds weren't that comfortable. Definitely will not ever stay there again. The only good thing was the location and the Mexican restaurant next door. The food at the restaurant was great. And the Continental breakfast was quite lacking. So save your money and go somewhere else. You'll be glad you did."

"Quite literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Aside from the place looking run-down, out of date, and not very clean, there were BED BUGS in our room. I was jokingly looking at the headboard saying "Oh I hope there's not beg bugs" and turns out there were! You could see little splotches/eggs on the headboard and when we wiped a cotton pad on the wood there was an actual live bed bug crawling on it. Absolutely vile. We called the front desk and the woman just tried to convince us to move to another room. She refused to give us a refund for the 2 nights we had booked there that we would obviously no longer be using. Terrible customer service."

"Had an emergency and needed a room at almost 1am. Booked online because it said pet friendly. Lady at check in was unbelievably rude and aggressive. Asked her if she would just cancel the room because dealing with her was extremely uncomfortable. She refused..still got charged for the room. Immediately when I walked in she was rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Online says dogs are allowed, inside the front it says no dogs. She said cash only fees. I didn't even have cash and it was 1AM! I didn't know if my guest was bringing her dogs and I told her that. I said I would come back and pay the pet fee if the dogs came. She said "no you pay now" she told me over and over "call and check." My guest had no phone due to the emergency we were dealing with. She told me over and over to call while holding my ID. When I asked for it back she just stared at me then threw it down into the tray. Will not ever go to another Scottish inn again!"
