Temple's Sporting Goods

"Terrible experience from the beginning. Went here during the Fall to get my son sized for his baseball uniforms. The staff was far from knowledgeable, socially awkward, and didn’t know the answers to my questions. None of the clothes were fitting correctly, so with their “help” they advised us on what size to order. When the apparel arrived, the pants were so small that they wouldn’t even button around my son’s waist. I called the store to let them know the situation, and the lady was very helpful and explained this isn’t the first call she received about this and that she would get the pants replaced no problem, and to just bring them in. The under-shirts were also way too small, but wasn’t a huge concern as those are quick, cheap, and easy to replace. We were told by other parents on the team that they had different brands to choose from and that some of their sizing was awkward for their kid too. But when we went for fittings, we were only shown the one brand. Never were we told there were others. Fast forward to today, my husband took the original pants in to be exchanged, and the lady laughed at my husband and told him no. He told her he was going to call his wife (me) because he wasn’t sure the exact details from my previous call and wanted to get all of the info for her since he wasn’t present for the original fitting. The worker literally turned to her coworker and whispered “he’s tattling on me”. I then called and spoke with her on the phone and she was downright rude! Her attitude was disgusting. She advised me to sell the pants on marketplace and told me it was an error on my end. She also demanded to know the name of the employee who told me they could be replaced as if her top priority was to get her in trouble. When I told her she was being really rude, she let out a huge sigh and said she’d have a manager call me. She then got off the phone and told her coworker “she just did a lot of complaining about the high school boys”. My husband said this was the worst customer service he has ever experienced. As a business owner myself I could NEVER imagine treating someone like this. I spent hundreds of dollars at your store and now I have to spend tons more for an error on your end. I won’t be ordering the undershirts here as they luckily can be made elsewhere."
