"I love this shop but there are a few things that could improve. The location is great for me and I’m super happy that it’s here! The scones aren’t perfect but good for when I want a baked snack. I normally get an iced chai or a decaf iced latte. The chai was really good when they first opened but then it seems they either changed the chai mix or started adding more milk…it’s still good though! The espresso is ok for a coffee shop in Dubuque and I don’t expect it to be perfect. The atmosphere isn’t super comfortable for studying and gets loud with more people. If there were couches or comfortable chairs it would be nice but I understand that it’s a small space. The employees are usually pretty friendly too! My only super big problem with it is the hours it’s open. I know many college students who would love to go get coffee or study there but the fact that it opens at 8 and closes at 1 is horrible. It’s also disappointing that it isn’t open on Sundays… I’m not sure if it’s a staffing problem or they just don’t want to be open longer but I’ve tried to apply and no one answers my email so it must not be a staffing issue… I would love if it was open longer!! Overall I do like this coffee shop and when I’m not in class and it’s open I love going :)"
