"Stopped in for dinner and the live music. In this case some Christmas carolers. Brought our kids with us and they enjoyed the food as well. Appetizers came fast and drinks were always full. Service was spot on. Probably a broken record but ya gotta get a Reuben here, it's melt in your mouth amazing. The fish and chips were amazing as well, really good overall atmosphere and the decor is spot on like an Irish pub. Be sure to check when they do and don't have live music as it may be loud for some."
"We enjoyed the bangers and mash, and a shepherds pie. Several menu choices were appealing so we went traditional. Service was attentive and friendly. The food came out after a reasonable amount of time, piping hot. Our server recommended the amazing banana bread dessert which is a banana bread with sauce and ice cream. It was warm and sweet, sort of like a banana bread French toast with ice cream. We would visit again during our trip to Galena but they are not open on Sundays or Mondays. There are the traditional Irish pub drinks available."
"Was our 1st stop at galena, and it was a fun atmosphere. Plenty of parking! The server was a very nice man who executed our order and was fun to interact with. The food has the classic Irish touches. Left feeling full and happy! Next time I'm trying the Sheppard pie."
"My wife and I checked in next door 15 minutes before their kitchen closed on a Wednesday. The receptionist at the hotel recommended this place as we hadn't had dinner after our 3 hour drive. We were greeted at the bar and told the kitchen was just shut down. We asked if there were other places to dine, and he said no. After a short pause he stated he could make us a few select items from the menu. What a blessing! I don't know that I would have had better food anywhere around! The chicken sandwich and Reuben were both amazing! Will most likely return before we leave town. Such wonderful quality and customer service!"
