"Hu Hot is ok. Customer service/host is subpar. Sometimes, it is hard to get help when needed. Food is ok, and it seems to take longer than usual when they are hardly full. Bathrooms are always clean and well kept. The bar is ok to not really worth the time. I think it's the lack of employees that make this place a no-go for me."

"1 star purely for my server. Initials H.H. Won’t be back until she’s gone. This was the second time in the last month we had her. Both times I felt like my table was an afterthought. Ordered an appetizer and it never came, waited to see if it was on the bill and yep it was. Had to say we never got it, which she as our server should have noticed. Tried to pay my bill with the app and halfway though it says “it’s already been paid” so I give her my card to run it. When she comes back I told her I had pending charges already and only after being told that did she say her manager was working to remove the charge. Don’t you think I should have been told that already? Very frustrating as this is one of, if not my favorite place to eat in Dubuque."

"Our server at HuHot was great, and the guy on the grill was a lot of fun, talking and visiting as he worked. This is a fantastic place to eat! It is especially nice for those with dietary restrictions or special food preferences, as you can chose exactly what you want in your dish. If you are visiting for the first time, the trick to a super tasty meal is to add as much sauce as you possibly can."

"We came in with a 11 people 30 minutes before they closed early the night before Thanksgiving. The hostess made sure we were aware before seating us. The staff were so kind and attentive. You would never havevguessed that we were there so late into their day! The cook was the best we have ever had at all the Hu Hots we have ever eaten at. I wish I knew the names of the cook, hostess/manages, and bar tender so I could publicly thank them. You helped us have a wonderful start to our Thanksgiving family gathering."

"Love Mongolian BBQ! Especially the all you can eat kind. Three trips around the grill and to stop. Totally forgot to picture the third bowl. Service is great from everyone. My drink stayed full and the cooks were cheerful even while banging the spatulas against eight bowls of cooking food! Bring the family and enjoy! Oh the raspberry tea is phenomenal!"
