"Everything was amazing. The staff was so kind. We were never left starving either. The winter dip was amazing with the pretzel bread and the crunchy cheese crust of the dip. The Cesar salad was soft and crunchy. The sauce was garlicky but I LOVE GARLIC. I had the steak with potatoes and it’s the best steak I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. They perfectly cooked it to exactly right and it melts in your mouth. And what I liked was that the food wasn’t hot, it was warm. It wasn’t unbearable, I didn’t have to wait to eat it. It was ready the second it came out. The beef stroganoff was the best I’ve ever had. It was creamy and full of flavor. Fiona was amazing. She made us feel very welcomed and appreciated. She always left me laughing with her jokes and we love her penguin she gave us. Definitely made our night. When we come back it would be because of the food and the service!"

"To start off I'm am usually a meat and potatoes nothing fancy kind of guy so I was expecting this place to be a little to much for me but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the beef tenderloin and it was wonderful. There was nothing weird was on it, the butter was great (easy to scrap off and use in the potatoes), and reasonable priced. Good job pepper sprout."
"Very good food and drink. The food was delicious and interesting with large portions. Prices were very reasonable making the meal a very good value. Our server was above average and the dining room was updated. I wish I lived here so I could visit more often. It would definitely be a go to place if I lived in Dubuque."
"We had an excellent experience at Pepper Sprout! Our food was wonderful and our waitress Fiona was one of the best we’ve ever had! We were a large table of 10. Fiona was excellent and witty and had a fabulous personality! Our table was very loud and obnoxious and she handled everything perfectly! She personally wrapped up our leftovers and made animals with aluminum foil out of them! Extremely creative! All of the staff were friendly and super attentive. Chef Kim even came to the table to chat with us. The Halloumi cheese appetizer was delicious and the Macaroni and Cheese was to die for and it was a huge portion. I had the best Old-Fashioned ever! We will definitely be back!!"
