Leah has been so helpful and kind with anything I need help with. The new property manager seems to be getting things done!! I would recommend making this property your new home."

"This place is horrible. Everything is a shortcut. The grounds are filthy especially the dog park. They make the front entrance look nice but as you get into the property it all goes down hill and is sub par. People blast loud music at all hours and the management dose nothing about it. Place is also FULL of drugs. Run as fast as you can unless you enjoy living in little Mexico."

"Do not move here. It is extremely expensive, they will jack up the prices every year, but the return is bad service and lies from management. Okay location is not worth the hassle. And forget peaceful, there was a shooting here last year, which resulted in the name change from Carrington to Oxbow. I have a broken dishwasher that management didn't bother to replace until I approached maintenance myself, and then they replaced it with another broken dishwasher. They refuse to replace it, always saying they're waiting for this or for that, but it's just a game for them. I have had a broken, unusable drawer for over a year. I have an AC unit that leaks constantly, and I have to take out the condensation with a bucket or it will leak into the downstairs neighbors, and who knows whether management would do anything about any black mold that would result from that. Management promised that they wouldn't raise the rent this year, and they sent me a lease with the same lease amount, but then they rescinded it when it was too late for me to move and raised my rent anyway."

"I love the location of Carrington Place Apartments. It’s an easy walk to Main Street as well as easy access to IH-10. Recent remodeling gave me the loveliest little yard for my pets and plants! Steve, our maintenance man, has been so helpful whenever something has come up, maintenance-wise. And Brandy is amazing in the office! If she says it will be attended to...completed, etc., then it absolutely happens! She is organized, responsible, reliable, and lovely to work with! And I love the mini food truck yard across the street!!! Carrington Place seems to me to be a community oriented, family and pet friendly place. My apartment looks across a small field to Fabra Elementary. I love hearing the children playing. With the new mini-yard renovation, I’ve realized how much more privacy my apartment has! It’s definitely a plus! I love having doors and windows open when the weather allows. Also with the new yard, it’s like I have a new outdoor living area!"
