Lakes at Lewisville

"I've been here for 1 year and I plan on staying here, it is so peaceful and neighbors are nice. This community is very attentive, always making sure to keep us updated with events, I have not had a lot of maintenance requests but the few times I have they always follow up in a timely manner. I love it here !"

"My partner stays here and we had my daughters birthday party at the pool. Upon going to the pool we walked up to a half dressed couple sleeping behind the bbq pit getting dressed to exit the pool side since we were clearly interrupting their sleep. They were in fact homeless. We asked the couple that was sitting on their patio if they saw them or if this was often and they said they see homeless people at the pool all the time. There has to be a way to get this controlled rather than me having to check the area before allowing my kids to enter."

"Edit: I have now had water leak from my ceiling 4 separate times in the less-than-three years I have lived year. I receive less help every time. Will not be renewing my lease. I feel like I should be writing this review for whoever Lakes at Lewisville contracts for maintenance work, but here we are. Management staff are nice, helpful, responsive and all that. It is quiet, good amenities, close to the lake/golf course, stuff like that. Almost all of my issues are with the maintenance/construction that goes on here. This apartment was in by far the worse shape of any I had moved into before (no shower curtain rod, door to balcony didn't lock, porch light broken, mismatched paint colors, paint for the walls on the cabinets and baseboard/trim, I could go on). I was warned prior to moving in there would be some construction due to the complex being damaged by the 2021 freeze, but I did not expect that to mean there would be someone entering my apartment, often with no warning, on a weekly basis for months. Screws have been left on my floor, holes have been left in the ceiling. For weeks. Other complaints include the property management company enacting pretty serious policies that only benefit themselves, as well as having to pay for a closet which has to remain empty so that the water heater can be accessed by maintenance. I wish I could leave a one star review for how frustrating I have found my time here, but I believe it would be disingenuous. There really are many good things about this apartment complex, and I have may have just gotten unlucky. However, there are simply too many things I have experienced here that are just "the worst ever"."

"My experience leasing with Lakes at Lewisville has been one of the best i’ve had with any apartment i’ve lived in! I was making a cross country move and the leasing agents were extremely helpful and flexible with me. Diana is very responsive and follows up on requests. They were switching owners during the time i moved in a she made sure to communicate all changes. I’ve had two maintenance issues that were addressed very quickly."

"So much to say so I'll try and be brief... I was in a pinch and Diana was super kind, patient and helped me move in, in 3 days time. Unfortunately, I moved in 8 days before the Freeze which caused power outages and I was displaced for a short time. Upon finally settling in, the complex underwent major construction due to damages caused by the storm, so my entire lease I lived in a construction zone. I had ups and downs due to the contractor's negligence, but Diana and Jenny were very helpful and apologetic and I made it through 13 months in a blink of an eye. I only had to call for maintenance a handful of times and they were very prompt and respectful of my time. I really loved the color change and upgrades I experienced as I was getting ready to end my lease. This was the most quiet and private place I have ever lived with great neighbors. I would recommend Lakes at Lewisville to any and everybody. I was sad to leave, but my career path changed, and I needed to be closer to Dallas. Thank you Dayrise for keeping Diana and Jenny... they are making the magic happen at that special place by the lake... ❤️"
