"I called Dr. Chichane's office yesterday morning looking to make an appointment with her. The goal of this phone call was to book an appointment in order to change doctors (to possibly have her as my doctor). That goal was not achieved due to her horrific office staff. The receptionist was absolutely horrifically. Her hostile way of talking to me over the phone made it clear that she just wanted to argue when all I was asking for was for a self pay appointment with the doctor. I was told that the first visit would be $240. During the call mentioned that my previous doctor was about and hour to and hour and a half a way and was hoping to make Dr. Chichane my doctor which is when the receptionist began getting even more rude. She told me I could NOT have her as a doctor since I already had a doctor and that is just simply not how it worked. She then proceeded to ask my what my diagnosis was and what medications I was on and then talk down about my previous doctor and she doesn't even know who he is! I am honestly happy that I am in a decent place mentally because if I wasn't this specific conversation would have been beyond discouraging when I was calling to make an appointment. I hope that no one in a bad place mentally and is making the first step to get the proper help they need and calling a doctor to make an appointment (which is the hardest step to take) talks to this incredibly rude receptionist woman and is discouraged. I was not able to make an appointment with the doctor unfortunately. I was looking forward to it because I've heard nothing but good things about the doctor and how kind she is. I hope this gets back to Dr. Chichane since I was unable to get to make an appointment with her or talk to her. (I would like to add the the cost of the fist initial appointment went up to $280 by the end of the call)"

"I never do reviews, but in this case I am making an exception. After decades of not having the right medications I am finally doing well. Past Doctors were there and helped, but Dr. Chichane worked to make sure I was not just surviving, but that I was doing well. I cannot recommend enough, my life is way better and she has played a major role in achieving that."

"I waited about 6 months for an appointment with her; the longest I’ve ever waited, and I’ve seen a few different doctors over the past 25 years. When I had my appointment, I was very honest that I drank occasionally. She refused to treat me unless I went to an inpatient facility instead of offering other options. It uprooted my life, but I did it and tried to schedule an appointment for medication maintenance, which is required afterward. I was denied because I was told it had been too long since my previous appointment. She had come highly recommended to me, but I feel like she was lacking in compassion, and I have never been turned away by a psychiatrist. I wouldn’t recommend going to her if you have dual diagnosis or anything more than depression or anxiety. She’s just way too black and white about complex issues."
