"I was so unfortunate to meet with Cathleen in the front office, she was the most hostile person I’ve met in a while. Refusing to be of any help with hostility, aggression, and dismissive behavior. Praying I never have to cross paths with her again. Management, the people in your front office represent your establishment. Cathleen if you see this, I hope whatever it is that makes you so unfortunate to be around be healed. Even though you were so mean to a complete stranger, I hope you get well soon, so nobody else will ever have to endure your uneasy energy again."

"I have lived here for four years and have never had any issues with management or maintenance personnel. Every time I had an issue and had to call the maintenance line even after hours they were very prompt. The management has always been kind, professional, and extremely helpful. I truly wish I didn’t have to move out of these apartments."

"The staff is discriminative towards people of color. Do not go here. If anyone knows the older lady who works in leasing, stay far away from her as she will not treat you with respect. I wish I could go back and resign the paperwork they had me fill out where they DO in fact mention discrimination. I tried to give the older lady the benefit of the doubt and continued on with the tour but I felt so uncomfortable. I asked her questions where she would contradict herself, it’s almost as if she was trying to make me find a reason to not continue on with the process. I would not wish this experience on to anyone else"

"I am so happy I chose my Woodlake Apartment for my new home. It is so comfy and cozy! The grounds feel like I live in a well-groomed park! The staff is so helpful and friendly, always here to answer my questions. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I am so happy!!"

"I'm not sure where the folks giving bad reviews live, but it's been quite the opposite experience for me. I LOVE Woodlake Apartments. I've been here 2 years this June, and would happily live here until I'm ready to buy a house, but between my commute to my new job, and the need for a little more space, I've got to go. I moved here site unseen (in person) during the start of the pandemic, and could not have been more pleased with everything. The location is great. Easy access to the highways, and plenty to do in Southlake or Grapevine. Management is great. Any issue I report to Kathleen has been handled same day. I sometimes have come home at 2 and 3 am, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The only issue I've had is with ants when they get into high activity, but that's to be expected. No other bug issues. In 2 years, I've seen 1 roach, and that was after I had an overnight guest. Their maintenance crew is top notch. During the big ice storm in 2021, the pipe burst in the wall between my unit and the one next to me. Before I could even report it, the maintenance guys were knocking at my door because my neighbor had reported it, and they were checking to see if anyone else had water issues. My bottom floor was flooded. In 30 minutes, they'd cleaned up all the water, and stopped the leak. I'd gladly recommend Woodlake to ANYBODY. I'm really surprised on the racial issue someone else brought up, I'm black, and have never had an issue with any of my neighbors or anyone else in the neighborhood."
