"Isabelle Ortiz..Actually that is not considered theft. A landlord has a right to enter your apartment and take "Lien of Property" if rent is not paid. You can find that in the lease contract paragraph 13 if I am not mistaken. The Texas Property Code is 54.042. I don't know the manager but I am a manger myself therefore I know that in the state of Texas, landlords do have a right to take "Lien of Property.""
"stole my sisters 40 and 32 inch tv for only $300 of rent. on top of that they illegally evicted her. if i could give 0 stars i would!! horrible place to live at. manager is rude and unwilling to work with her tenants."
"I had a very bad experience there in those apartments after I lived there close to 15yrs.first of all they have very poor management. Manager does not take care of stuff that needs to b done. I had also a bad experience with bed bugs and fleas. This issue has lasted over a yr and nothing was done about it. I had to get rid of my mattress of my daughters as well. Now who is gonna provide me with my mattress and the clothes I got rid of. I also threw a lot of clothes. I talked to the commissioners, JPs,lawyers,and nothing was done.The manager has even slept with one of the tenents as well. Thats how desperate she was for looking for a man.My recommendation to those Apts r a zero."
"If I could give a 0 star I would. I have had AC problems ever since my wife and I moved in and still, nothing has been fixed. I work 30 hours/week at just above min wage, my wife works less hours and is trying to get her teaching degree. Our July electric bill is $296. The "ac tech" that is supposed to be coming, never shows up, leaving the maintenance man to do what he can, which is use a blowtorch and cut away pieces, which does nothing. The lease agreement states we are not allowed to have window units and says little to nothing about her fixing actual problems. The sink still leaks, the shower I had to have my father in law fix, and I dread the next 9 months of a lease, but don't make enough to move nor the $200 to fix the ac.... DO NOT LIVE WITH THIS SCUMLORD. Btw, it's 90 in my apartment at 2 pm, and I quote for the 4th time today, "The AC repairman is on his way.""
"The manager is very nice, does not have favorites and does her job very well. Whenever we have a problem with something, she gets on it right away. The area is always kept nice and is always clean. Very reasonable prices. Overall, its a great place to live and everyone is friendly here."
