"A very outdated Courtyard with rude staff and poor customer service recovery. I had an incident and contact the hotel over 6 times in a week and have yet to receive a call back from a manager. There are many other great hotels in Harlingen."

"The rooms are outdated and not as clean as I had hoped. There is a damp, musty, old water smell throughout the hallways and particularly in the rooms. This is the reason for such a low rating aside from the fact that the windows have no screens on them. I thought at least allowing a breeze in would help some with the odors, but the windows are old and very difficult to open and close properly. The laundry is free and very convenient. You do have to purchase your own detergent. There is a pool and a nice courtyard for sitting and walking. There is a movie theatre, an HEB and a Chilis walking distance which is very nice. Staff is attentive and friendly and they did try to help with my concerns by offering me a different room, but both rooms had the same issues unfortunately."

"The gentleman at the counter was superb, we were very excited to finally find a hot tub that worked. However dissatisfied when we went outside to the hot tub and it was barely warm. The hot tub was the reason we chose the hotel. Very sad, if you’re going to advertise a hot tub at least keep it warm. The room was ok but sub par for a Marriot."

"Stayed here a couple times and both were great stays. Very convenient to the freeway, nearby restaurants, and grocery store. The lady checking us in on 10/14/23 was extremely nice and efficient. Room was clean. Furniture had a few dings but nothing that would stop me from coming back. Would definitely recommend!"

"Was a little concerned at first but everything at this hotel was great. AC was cool, staff was friendly and accommodating, and it is close to everything. Don’t plan on coming back to Harlingen but if I do I’ll stay here again"
