"We tried to lease back in January. We’re a young expecting couple. The owner, even though we had applied and then were waiting on him to send the rest of the information over for us to finish and start moving in soon, he went and leased behind our backs to I’m assuming a more established family. It isn’t easy anymore for families starting out trying to find somewhere to live. And Uvalde is a limited town. We luckily managed to find somewhere even better a few weeks later. What really makes me kind of chuckle is that he had the audacity to reach out to us to come back when someone backed out on him. I would not lease with this man. Yes the homes are absolutely sparkly and new and gorgeous. But it is very obvious everything is about money here."
