"The Riv is a tranquil setting in a fast paced world! The accommodations are marvelous. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. The River access and pavilion are so beautifully made. Spent one night with my husband and it just wasn’t long enough! Enjoyed it so much we plan to share this with our family for a wonderful get away. The river is crystal clear and so relaxing. The Nueces River is a must see. The Riv is a must stay’"
"Wow! Cabins are wonderful. Every detail thought of, big porches, comfortable beds and an amazing place to gather with family and friends. BBQ pits for grilling as well as a private fire circle to gather under the stars and enjoy a peaceful Texas night. Deer roam around and graze; you never know what you will see. . The swimming area is like no other. Pavilions, easy entry to the crystal clear water. The Nueces River is one of Texas’ hidden treasures and The RIV has made the perfect place to take in all of its beauty. You will not be disappointed in the staff, ownership or facilities A+++. Loved it!"
"The Riv accommodations were clean and comfortable. Each cabin has a spacious porch and fire pit to relax and enjoy the evenings. The property is on the river with a waterfront pickle ball/basketball court. Covered cabanas on the water’s edge provide shade so you can enjoy the river all day. Our stay provided treasured memories of fun and adventure."
"We stayed at the Riv in September 2020. The Neuces river is amazing! We took the family and the kids could not get enough of jumping off the small cliffs into the river. The whole set up is amazing! The cabins have plenty of room. We went with three other families who also had children. I could see this being an excellent family reunion spot...or an escape if you don’t like your family."
"Awesome resort for the whole family. Been there 3 times now over the past couple years and will go again. Accommodations are great. Pickle ball and basketball courts await. 3 generous pavilions abutted by a massive lawn accommodate lakeside play mingled with creative bbq’s & picnics. And the accessible animals are a whole other level of engagement. The RIV rocks!"
