"Another PT milking the medical benefits for 15 minute turn over. With all my policy information, I was given an inaccurate 'estimate' for my initial visit. I was informed how much I would be paying for my initial visit and each returning visit. I decided to stop services because I didn't think it was worth paying over $120 a month in visits for 2 minutes of muscle work, limited to a chiropractic spinal adjustment, and playing a guessing game to find the stem of my problems (yet doing the same thing for 3 weeks with no improvement to my primary complaint). I come to find out that they billed my insurance for a medical specialist visit in addition to 2-3 additional lines of "therapeutic adjustments" resulting in an additional ~$70 balance on top of what I had already paid. Great chiropractic adjustment. Its just a shame that they'd have to charge me another specialist office visit fee in order to assess a single other area only to THEN charge an additional fee to adjust my neck. This is the most ridiculous and obscure system for athletes/victims that suffer pain in multiple regions. I can only imagine a car accident victim being charged for a bum knee and a bum shoulder separately. Or have completely separate appointments per body part.. Absolutely bizarre."
