"Waited over 2 hours just to be seen about a cousultation on results, which could have been a simple and quick conversation. Had an appointment mind you. I enjoyed my doctor, but not my experience at this practice."

"My daughter and I waited two hours an left before she was seen by a doctor. The lady at the front desk was busy with her conversation her cellphone to even acknowledge us upon entering. The floors and furniture were soiled/dirty. There is no reason to for a doctor's office to be dimly lit and have substandard cleaning. We waited for over an hour for a room to be available. Due to other scheduled appointments we were not able to wait any longer. Those with busy schedules should seek services elsewhere."

"Great annual exam. However, after filling out 6 documents with my name in fine print, they incorrectly documented my first and last name. The incorrect documentation of my full name made it difficult to process my prescription as well as be able to pick it up. After that incident, I made the request to get Nexplanon (contraception that is placed in the arm). Both the doctor and office assured me that they could do the order and placement. I asked for this form of birth control because of the placement, the 3 years of protection from getting pregnant, and because my insurance states that they cover the device. Instead of the clinic calling to order the device, they told me to call them. When I called, the pharmacy told me that the device is usually ordered by the doctor and should not be requested/ called for by the patient. The device was sent to the office. However, I needed to wait to have the implant placed until I was on my period. When I got on my period, I called to make an appointment. I was on the phone with the clinic twice that day. However, I had to drive across town to be notified that the device I ordered was having an issue being billed by the insurance. They received the fax on October 29th and was only notified yesterday on November 9th when I got to the office. Why couldn't this have been mentioned over the phone like all other lab results? Lastly, when I called the insurance to ask why they would not cover the bill from the clinic (even though it's on my insurance plan), they stated that the clinic charged it through medical instead of pharmacy that would insure them (and the doctor) the most monetary reimbursement. Clinics like these are the reason woman do not receive the proper care, have children at such a young age, end up in poverty, etc. From the field I study, there are code of ethics and standards of care put in place to ensure that the client receives the best services. This clinic does not do that. Instead, they try and cover themselves. Today, they called me through a telehealth call (a call that cost money and was not scheduled on my end). Not to be rude but: Why are you calling me? What services can you offer me if you denied me my last and only request? I've tried other forms of birth control, but am looking for one that does not make me come into the clinic repeatedly throughout the year. I am a student, a worker, and am currently gaining clinical hours simultaneously. I do not have time to run around or worry about my personal care. When they were on the phone with me, they asked, "Well do you want the doctor to lose money?" OF COURSE NOT. BUT are you really putting pressure on a client that she is the reason a doctor cannot make enough money to support herself or the clinic? Also, instead of assisting me by recommending another clinic, they just stated that I should call the insurance and ask myself. Other clinics I have been to gave me a list of other clinics to contact while requesting that I ask these clinics if my insurance will cover my visits. I've lived in many areas and have gone to several clinics, but this is truly the worst care I have ever received. It's the reason I am doing my first Google review. I hope that those of you reading this will choose a clinic that provides for you and gives you the best care (unlike this clinic)."

"With Clinica Santa Maria it's all about the journey, self-growth, and love. My first appointment was in 2013 for a women's health check up and it was an awesome experience. In 2014 I put on some weight. That's when I realized that they where so much more than just a women's clinic! From rejuvenation services to having a nutritionist on board, they helped me get back on track with leading a healthier lifestyle. Every time I visited the clinic I saw so many happy, soon-to-be parents. So much so that I remember thinking to myself: "maybe one day we'll be here for the same reason!". Fast forward to today and here we are. Our first appointment was nothing short of amazing. Everyone made sure my husband and I where comfortable and exited! Our pregnancy was genuinely celebrated by everyone and we can't wait for our next appointment. There's nothing better than being treated like family by people who in many ways have helped you flourish! Thank you Clinica Maria for always making me feel at home!"

"I went in to get my women's annual exam and had a great overall experience. I'm leaving four stars because of the friendliness of the staff. The wait time was terrible though. I had a 10:30 appointment, was called at 11:00, and waiting in the office for an hour until the nurse practitioner, Mary Ann, arrived. But she was fantastic. She was fun and nice, and made my first visit comfortable, though I was very nervous. She gave great advice. Though the wait time was terrible, I will go back to see her."
