"WILL NEVER GO TO SMG again! Decided to give SMG one more chance since their prices went up but the food quality went down along with them adding their own tip AUTOMATICALLY to the bill just to find out their kitchen was down tonight. I bought my tickets in advanced, did not receive any advanced notice of the kitchen being down. Hadn’t eaten in hours, the movie was an 3 hour movie. SMG offered NO compensation other than to go to another SMG. Turns out the reason the kitchen is down is due to an issue with the health inspection. Maybe it’s a good thing I wasn’t able to order food after all."
"Manager was very rude , and got upset because we requested two popcorns and he old brought us one then requested us to leave , I am very upset with the service and wouldve liked a refund. But instead he called the police"
"Cleaner than some theaters. The parking was easy and lots of room. Location is easy to find right off 75. Not the nicest inside, but also not terrible or beat up. I’d come back to see another movie."
"I had an okay experience overall until one of the servers came to me and said I hadn't paid for my popcorn. I stated that I paid with cash, and the server continued to go back and forth with me about the matter. A few minutes later, the server who served me came to me and stated that there was a mix-up. Afterward, we received someone else's food order and four cups of water, and two bags of popcorn that we didn't ask for. Yes, we told each server that we didn't make any extra orders. I really was looking forward to seeing a movie at the theater after not going for the last two years. My movie experience was not good."
"The movie, Color Purple, was an amazing MASTERPIECE! THE CULTURAL TALENTS WAS IMPECCABLE! The movie theater, studio movie grill was very clean, the seats were functional operational and it was extremely comfortable.. The service was awesome and non-distracting! Food is how you would rate any bar food. If you love bar foods, such as: wings, nachos, etc. it is a good choice. I haven't gone to the movies in a number of years ( including pre-pandemic). What a treat! I was concerned about the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility just based on not having gone to a movie theater in a while. I was very pleasantly pleased and surprised. Good job, studio movie grill on Royal Lane and North Central Expressway!"
