"We got a room here after volleyball because we didn't want to drive home. The smell when we walked in was overpowering and not very pleasant. Our non-smoking room smelled like someone had been smoking in it. They charged a security fee which is still on my account after 3 days. I had to call them to make sure it was being released. Not sure why they didn't just put a hold instead of a charge. Definitely will not return to this hotel in the future."

"The room was nice and clean with plenty of pillows. The beds were hard, and no blankets provided in the room, just a very thin coverlet over the sheets."

"The hotel room itself was good but the overall hotel was trash. They served raw sausage links and clearly fake eggs for breakfast. The cleanliness of the hotel was bad. The pool was filthy and there was something that looked like protoplasm floating in the pool. Mind you this was the day after the pool guy supposedly serviced the pool. The hot tub did not work at all. The elevator sounds like you are going on your last ride, it definitely needs servicing. The staff was always friendly though. However the owners need to spend the proper money to do updating. The subpar level of this hotel put a damper on my vacation."

"Our room was clean and wonderful! It smelled good and was way better than expected after reading the reviews. The breakfast is free and very typical of all hotels these days. Can't complain because it's free. The service was excellent! We took our 2 small dogs and there was no charge for them. The pool was indoors and beautiful! I'm SO glad we stayed here. We'd stay again, no questions about it."

"Staying here 3 days for a wedding. Room is OK and large, bed is good, AC works OK, reasonably clean. But the TV is a mess. No channel guide and no way to figure out what is on except by killing channels 1 at a time. Gave up after 45 minutes. Channel labels all wrong too, just to make it worse. Wanted to watch sports but there was no sign of local Dallas channels, makes me wonder if this TV coverage is stolen. Also, breakfast is not great, pretty sparse. Ran out of phony eggs by 8:20 AM. Noone monitoring the food. Everything cold. Coffee maker labeled as out of order. Someone needs to go buy one rather than label it out of order. Wife complained that room smells like stale smoke covered up with deodorizer. Didn't bother me as much as her. Room feels humid, like AC is not taking out humidity. Also, main light in bathroom is dead, made shower area dark. Lack of adequate lighting in sofa area. No way to read in there. Overall is an OK stay, but needs some effort to work on multiple annoying issues."
