"We pulled into Legends Rv park 2 days ago. It didn't take long to wish I never heard of the place. We own a 5th wheel Rv. There are so many low branches it was like driving through land mines. Right off, there was an "elbow" of a mesquite tree, in the lane, and I just caught it with my awning, darned near tore it off. I had to back out of a site as there was no way to get through. Then as I circled around, I caught another branch, and tore off a solar panel. I was not a happy camper, no pun intended. There were so many branches, you'll just damage your Rv like I did. When the manager showed up, it was hot and windy, my wife and I managed to get the awning somewhat straightened out before the wind tore it off, and rolled back up. All the mounting hardware was bent and with pulled out screws. The solar panel was damaged beyond repair, and was removed. I had a dozen holes in my roof, and a broken hatch cover. Mesquite is a tough tree and does not break easy. When I bitterly complained, the manager offered the site for free, but I'd have to stay here a month to pay for all the damage. A very small consideration. The mangers excuse was #1, the trees grow too fast, and #2, it was hot out. I asked him if it was hot this winter. He had no reply to that. I chalked it up to just plain lazy operators that don't want to be bothered except when money is due. We also suspect bad water. Since being here, my wife and I have had gut aches, one of our pooches wouldn't eat last night, and we all have loose stools. I gave it one star. Avoid if you have a big rig. IF the manager cut down all the offending trees, and there are so many, where you can drive through without damaging your rig, it would be an easy 3 stars. I'll concede it is very quiet here."

"I read the great reviews and gave it a try. Won’t be back. The 1.6 mile road onto the Park is horrible. If you’re driving in with a truck and camper it won’t seem bad…until you arrive and open the door to your camper and see what happened! In my Class A, things were falling everywhere, no matter how slow we went. Sand burs everywhere, not a good place for dogs. See the picture of my RV tire. Sites are long pull throughs; however many have low hanging branches that would scratch the paint on Class A’s or C’s and 5th wheels. Sites are dirt and if there was much rain I’m sure they turn to mud holes. Couldn’t find a dumpster on our way out to dump our trash. Price was reasonable…$35/night and it was quiet so I did give it 2 stars."

"If you like quiet and remote this is the place. Great birdwatching!!! A lot of deer in the area. If you like fishing there is a great lake and a pond you can fish in. Also by pond is a firepit and a dock you could swim from. There is no Clubhouse but there are bathrooms and Laundry. A lot of shade. Picnic tables along bank and a hugh grill. Was going to stay a couple weeks and decided on a month plus 1 week."

"I travel a lot for work and it is sometimes hard to find an RV park that is well kept and affordable. Do not be fooled by the images on Google maps. This is one of the most well maintained and quiet places I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It has on-site showers if you need t them and a laundry facility also. Right next to the river and plenty of shade trees. There owner is super nice and very attentive to the property. I will be staying here for quite awhile for work. Excellent place to stay. Highly recommend starting here for a night a week or longer. Not far from a wal Mart and an HEB. Awesome place."
