"We stayed in a TLF helping our son settle in for pilot training. From the front desk check-in to the check-out, everything and everybody were really good. The house is set up comfortably and furnished plenty well for a visit. Yes, some of the things are government “minimum needs”, but, everything worked. I’d tell anyone to grab one of the TLF’s when visiting the area."
"Clean rooms, great staff and super quiet"
"If you are single and with pets, do not try getting a room here. They only offer rooms for married members with pets or single with no pets. The one time I did stay in a room, the bathroom was molded and the place had bugs everywhere and the crew refused to assist with this issue. The places are affordable though."
"4 areas of improvement: 1. intermittent internet within rooms ((cant keep a connection if it tried) as well as phone service seems to be blocked within bldg). 2. outdated tv/entertainment center (small tv, nonsmart, outdated inputs) 3. no water pressure in bathroom shower 4. walls are really thin (can hear conversation in other rooms pretty well)."
"Rooms are small, single rooms (not living room & bedroom like other AETC bases). Staff is excellent, maintenance very responsive. Air conditioning works great. Would be five stars except for the small room size. Warning for nightshift workers like me: the rooms have a WALL SIZED window, which isn't easy to cover with tinfoil to make it dark for sleeping during the day."
