"Lake Amistad is Beautiful.The water is clean and refreshing... My Wife and I stayed in home #9 at Ruthie's . Spacious and clean. Very comfortable. The Deck over lookng the lake is Great!. The pontoon boat was flawless..... Highly recommended."
"We recently stayed at Ruthie's Rentals for a couple of nights and it was great! The trailers are very clean and they had a stove, fridge, and microwave. Everything we needed. The trailer had a fabulous porch with a pit, table, and chairs....and the view was beautiful!! We rented a boat from Nick and Jody and they are so sweet. The water was absolutely wonderful! I didn't want to leave. We are already planning our next stay. 5 STARS!!!!"
"Our family had a blast at Ruthie's! We love the outdoors and were able to enjoy all aspects from boating to hiking! We were able to rent a boat and kayaks through Ruthie's and had 2 wonderful days on the river. The owners; Nick and Jodie Dacy, were welcoming and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. All in all a wonderful time! We will return!!!"
"My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Ruthie's for the 1st time ever. We found the area to be beautiful and really enjoyed boating on the river. The rental boat was exactly as promised! All had a fantastic day on the river and then slept like babies! If you love the outdoors then this is a must see! We were able to go hiking, biking and boating! Accommodations were clean, comfortable and the owners were very personable! It's not often you get the privacy you need to have fun as a family with excellent customer service. We are looking forward to booking again!"
"Nick is a great guy. This was a great place to spend our 30th anniversary. Very clean and well kept. Had the privilege to see several photos from other happy customers as well who apparently stay every year. Can’t recommend Ruthie’s enough from the great views off the porch, close access to the lake to the great service Nick provides. We had a blessed time."
