"No water, no electric, just vault toilets, a covered table, grill and trash can. Still, at four dollars, it is not too bad. And even better, half off for seniors. Besides, there are usually some nice people down from the northern areas wintering here. Update: I believe that the per night fee has gone up to $6.00."

"Nice little maintained camp grounds with individual covered pic nic tables and BBQs. 2 pit toilets. Water access about 1/4 mile from camp. Dog friendly. $6 a night credit/debit only. Generator ok from 6AM - 10PM"

"With the interagency pass the camping fee is $6 a night (normal fee, but no entry fee). The disability pass allows you to camp for $3. This site has 8 to 10 sites. A long walk to get a glimpse of the water. You are not launching kayaks from this spot with today's water levels. There were 4 to 5 people here in early February. Garbage service no other utilities."

"Always pleased with our stays on government land. This is part of Amistad National Recreation Area. This campground is not free, but prices are low. $3 for Senior Passholders, and $6 for everyone else. Unfortunately, the water table is very low. At the boat ramp, you could put in a canoe or kayak, but I wouldn't recommend a motor boat."
