"This is the BEST motel ever. No not fancy no pool or spa. Just a really comfy bed, a super clean room (not even one spider) Faith which is the owner and housekeeper of this and several other locations, the sweetest lady ever 1 mile away and will be there in a heartbeat for what ever you need."
"We would give 20 stars if we could. Budget accommodations were clean, quiet and comfortable. Currently renovations could not be heard in our room when the door was closed. Large room, king bed, 4 chairs and 2 tables. Large vanity, mini fridge and microwave. Friendly, helpful staff. Stay here!!!"
"Me and my fiancee were taking a trip to Big Bend Ranch State Park and needed a place to spend the night on the way. All the big hotels in the area were full (Spring Break + Oilfield) so I made reservations with Mike, the owner of La Loma. We got there late and Mike checked us in. He is was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, the beds were comfy, the shower was hot, we felt safe, and overall it was a great room for a great rate. I will say, it is nothing like a Holiday Inn Express, but that does not mean it is bad. Just plain and functional, almost utilitarian. I would recommend this motel to any traveler; esp. those on a budget, and those headed to Big Bend."
"No frills but overall a good place to stay and you will save some cash. The floor is tile which for me is better than a germ filled carpet. The bathroom was also clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. TV was wall mounted and had all the cable channels with HBO. There was a new fridge and microwave. AC/heater both worked great and weren't loud. We stayed Thurs-Sun and didn't hear loud noises or disturbances. There is a washeteria on sight. The outside lights were bright so I felt safe. We definitely will stay again. The owner was very nice."
