"Stayed in one of their renovated rooms on the ground floor, and the stay was excellent. The room was modern and in great shape, staff was friendly, breakfast was great in terms of choices of food (waffles AND pancakes) and availability times (until 10 even on weekdays). Luggage carts were large, in good shape, and readily available. Only downside, as others have written, is the lack of an elevator, so you have to deal with either the lack of privacy of a ground floor room, or the inconvenience of dragging your luggage up the stairs. "We have stayed here quite a few times over the years when we go to Big Bend National Park as it is the only Choice Hotel in Alpine. Our most recent stay was exceptional in that it was extremely windy and the hotel’s Direct TV was down due to the wind. The General Manager of the hotel, Dean C, and the desk clerk, Arelee L, went above and beyond to reprogram the TV in our room so we could watch Live TV during our stay."
"Hands down one of the best Choice Hotels brand hotels I've ever stayed in!!! Don't hesitate to book your stay here. My husband and I were road tripping down to Big Bend for the holiday and decided on Alpine for our base. We had actually just stayed at one of the most awful Quality Inns we've ever stayed in immediately prior to this one, so we went in with very low expectations. We were so impressed!!!! Extremely clean, not carpeted floors which was awesome, sparkling clean bathroom, sleek room design and decor, ample options for breakfast, attentive staff, pet friendly which was a huge plus for us. Overall just an excellent stay. I would gladly book a room here again. Thank you Quality Inn Alpine!!"
"Stayed here for a week for work. It was very accommodating, with plenty of parking for both the pickups and large trucks. Rooms were clean with plenty of room. Breakfast served in the mornings made starting each work day enjoyable. Plenty to see and do around Alpine."
