"Rooms are nice. Staff is friendly. The only problem I have with this place is how long it takes for them to return the incidental fee. I stayed for 9 days and paid separate fees for each day. I have yet to have those fees returned to me. It's been 2 weeks since my stay."

"Not the worse hotel I've been in since coming to Austin. As far as what you get, really just a bed. Internet is probably the worse out of all the hotels in Austin, the America's Best Inn place had internet 20 times better and that place was a dump. Elevator smells absolutely horrid, can't even describe the smell. Nothing included. you want anything your buying it, good thing is it's next to a circle K. Not even free coffee in the am. The place is kinda run down, probably was nice at some point, but they nickel and dime you like a high end hotel when it's really about the equivalent to a super 8 with worse internet."

"I guess don’t expect too much for a $60 dollar stay. The rooms are clean enough, the service is okay, and the location is fine. You can’t charge anything to your room which is a little annoying but whatever. You also have to go downstairs to the lobby for a glass of water unless you wanna drink tap. We left for the day around 10 and when we got back at 7:30 the sheets were changed as we requested, but the room had not been picked up. We had left some small trash and it was still there when we returned. Bit annoying but not the end of the world. Just means it wasn’t the best once-over. This review would be one star higher if they had tucked in my frog when they changed the sheets, but they did not. Mmph."

"The hotel looks good. Looks better inside than it does outside. There was a little bit of a 'stale' smell though in both the halls/room. The single elevator was missing it's inspection file. The room itself appeared clean. It has a balcony' but it was only about a foot wide. There is an restaurant "The Hideaway Kitchen & Bar" that is basically part of the hotel. I believe it is owned by the same people as the hotel but run separately. The food was a bit expensive considering what we paid for the hotel. There are QR codes in each room that you can use to order food associated with your room number. Just need to pick it up yourself. Walking distance to a Circle K, about 30 seconds from hotel door to convince store door."

"Mediocre, at best. There was a very chemical/odd smell on the 3rd floor. The room was ok, nothing special, the bed was very hard. My biggest complaint is the front desk. While the woman checking us in was nice, she took a photocopy of my driver's license and then left it face up on the desk. Not cool at all. First, she couldn't tell us why she was making a copy, and second, she should place it face down so others cannot see it and steal one's identity. I'd like to know why you make a copy and what happens to it after it's copied? Does it get shredded when I check out (I hope and pray)? Why can't the front desk clerk clearly explain why you do that? All in all, I'd pass on this hotel. There are so many other hotels in Austin that are nicer for about the same price, and don't engage in suspicious behavior."
