"Grumpy cash register workers sometimes, but they do take shifts for days so it depends. Can't really expect super good service from a corporate gas station so it really comes down to prices and the "better than nothing" service."

"The gas station operator who always works there is either a swindler or has no customer dispute resolution what so ever. He asked if I wanted 2 lottery tickets. I said yes, because I chose 2 sets of numbers. That's $1 x 2 = $2. Simple right? Nope! He swiped the paper swice; ringing up a total of 4 sets of numbers or duplicates of the two sets I provided. I got double charged for no benefit. That makes no sense. I asked for a refund and he refused saying I asked for two and blamed the machine. I showed him there's 4 sets of numbers and I asked for 2. He didn't work with me to resolve the dispute and reiterated that's what I asked for. Although I only lost $2, the principle remains that he's capable of either swindling people or not even attempting to resolve customer disputes; whichever was the case. Good thing we didn't dispute over a major purchase. I'm going go across the street to Conoco for now on. “You can’t make a good deal with a bad person.” -- Warren Buffett"
