"I literally live around the block from Sigel's. We stopped by there to pick up a house warming gift and restock on a couple of bottles for the liquor cabinet. Unfortunately, the quick trip up the street turned out to be quite disappointing. Upon entering the store, we quickly noticed three sales staff, all seated at the checkout registers chatting amongst themselves. Not a single one looked up to greet or offer to help us, despite there only being one other customer in the store. We searched for our preferred brands and bottles to no avail. They carry only a very basic variety of selections. We approached one of the salespersons to ask about their availability of a certain bottle and received a disdained look in return. We quickly decided to give up our search and approached the registers to checkout when we realized we did not have a gift bag for the house warming gift. My friend ran to grab a bag from their small selection while I started the checkout process. You might have thought we committed a crime by the looks and attitude we got from the checkout clerk. Possibly, the quick diversion to get the gift bag made her stand on her feet for an additional 15-20 seconds while my friend ran back with the bag in hand. Needless to say, it will be minute before we return."
