"Had an associate Victoria G help me cash out no problems with anyone on the floor very friendly no issues even the beginning of the interaction with Victoria was not bad. But then I asked a simple question about becoming a “member” and told me to take a picture and I could register myself online due to the long line they had so she could not help me. I look back no one in line. I was like wow my last visit everyone won me over but today left a bad taste in my mouth sometimes it the little things that make a place shine. I would totally understand if they had a long line but no one was waiting and had all registers open then once I mentioned this she now wanted to help me nah it’s ok I’ll register on my own. All she did was shake her head while I was walking out like if I was the issue."

"My fiance and I had been coming here since we moved to McAllen and until today our experiences had always been positive. However last week we bought a bottle of La Spinetta Barbera d'Asti Ca Di Pian 2015, and we were very disappointed to discover that it was corked. We are both pretty well versed wine drinkers and we are certainly not in the habit of returning wine. Today I went in and just asked to exchange it for something else and the cashier said "all 2015 wines are a little bitter", I guess suggesting that this is just how wines from 2015 taste, corked...and that there was no way I could get a refund or exchange it. Then I was approached by the manager who asked what the problem was. I said there was no problem but that I believed the bottle was corked. He then asked if I was the guy who tried to return a bottle of wine last week, which I have to say was a mind-bogglingly strange and insulting response. I said that we just moved here but that was a very weird question to ask. Anyways, he said they could not take back the wine after its been opened. I reminded him that I could have only discovered that it had gone bad by opening it. Nonetheless, I was frustrated and I ultimately gave up on my request for an exchange and suggested they dump the bottle down the toilet, and perhaps sample a bottle off the shelf to ensure that it was not past its prime. Based on the caliber of personnel in this store though I doubt that this is something they will consider. Very disappointing, I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on."
