"Pretty on the outside, awful on the inside. It is sad that people come to this place for help and are completely misled by the website and admissions team. My son entered this establishment for less than 24 hours. On arrival, the admissions building is in need of a cleaning, floors have food stuck to them. There were dirty dishes in the sink that had obviously been there awhile. We had to switch chairs around in the waiting area because they were covered in gunk/food. In hindsight, we should have left then. He says the place is chaotic, filthy (showers and toilets needing repaired, biohazard bags full and smelling, carpet is filthy, etc.) Stacked 3-4 to a room. We were told at admissions they do not allow visits, even though their website clearly states that they do in the FAQ section. My son had an item missing from their safe - which we are still trying to reach a resolution, but instead of investigating how this item magically wandered out of their safe, they are offering a reimbursement. They do not return calls. They did not give him his discharge papers back from the hospital and no one seems to know what happened with them. He was released from the hospital on a restricted diet, which Wooded Glen said they could accommodate - for dinner they had peanut butter and jelly, which was the complete opposite of what he was supposed to be eating. I could go on, please send your loved one elsewhere for treatment. This place is disorganized, unethical and disgusting."

"Wooded Glen is set on 600 beautiful acres. The facility is constantly being upgraded as is the quality of care! I found the program to be of the highest caliber and would recommend this program for any and all seeking recovery from addiction."

""Pretty on the outside." Never in my life have I experienced so much drama. Everyone seemed to get kicked out after 2 and 3 weeks because of insurance, whats the point in having a 28 day program?? Saw my case worker for a total of about 5 minutes until my last day I saw him for 10. Saw psych only twice in 3 weeks. Not enough nurses. I was getting my meds 2 to 3 hours late everyday. The front desk lost my clothes and some belongings and did nothing about it. It happens often. "Almost fights" were a daily event. No hot water for the entirety of my stay. This place was just flat out stressful."

"Wooded Glen is an absolutely amazing recovery center! It is the #1 place I recommend to anyone. The staff there are very personable and genuinely care about you. It doesn't matter what your situation is they advocate for you and work with you to make sure you succeed in life! Alice (the CEO) is one of my favorite people in the world, Nikki (alumni) is simply amazing! Greg (veterans) goes out on a limb to help every veteran that goes there. And all the other staff (Kelly, Gracie, Faith, Bobby, Corey, Big Rob, Little Rob and so many more) gladly and openly share their stories and listen to yours! They will come pick you up, get you to appointments (veterans), and even once you leave they make sure to reach out and stay connected and will continue to help you! I am so glad I chose to go there for recovery and do the veterans program! I think about them every day and would go back immediately if needed. I hope to work there some day!!
