The Briscoe-Garner Museum, located at 333 North Park Street in Uvalde, Texas, is a must-visit tourist attraction for history enthusiasts. This museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the incredible legacies of two influential 20th century political leaders from Texas, Vice President “Cactus” Jack Garner and Governor Dolph Briscoe.

"Visited this small museum to in a whim and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I took my children, 11 and 6, and both enjoyed it. My oldest and me were intrigued with the rich history of two very prominent figures in the state of Texas. My youngest loved the information system videos and the historical articles that were present. This is a great stop if driving through the city of Uvalde, Tx. I was unaware that two very prominent figures in Texas politics lived in this small but amazing town. It is free, but do take donations, and can be completed quickly in about an hour. Im giving it 4 stars because we arrived a bit later in the day and didn't get to do the entire experience, it is a walk and read on your own."
