"Definitely worth a visit. Learn about the man behind the music, tv and a sausage empire. The exhibits are great. I learned quite a bit about JD and his long lasting influence on music. Friendly staff. The only negative is the current lack of a gift shop. I was told they were working to remedy that so that’s a plus. Enjoyed it."
"We took our 3 and 4 year old grandkids. They loved the scavenger hunt. The volunteers were very helpful. You can get the scavenger hunt from the website or they had printed copies at the front desk. We just had the kids check them off as we saw them. I played the song Big Bad John for them before we went. They called Jimmy Dean “Big Bad John”. The oldest asked, “Big Bad John is good, right?” We got a kick out of that."

"Really enjoyed looking at the exhibits. It was nicely put together and learned a lot more about Jimmy Dean. The Ruth's Store was nice. It has a theater that talks about Jimmy Dean, too. The visit was pleasant and the staff made it enjoyable."
