"I liked this h. E. B. Unfortunately a lot of other people like this one too. it's always very busy and almost crowded it feels like. But check out still happens fast not really to long of a wait maybe 1 or 2 people ahead of you. And it's clean here the only bad part is I noticed it's fruit aren't really great looking, several times I've gone to get something for some to look older and bruised perhaps the busyness of the place they have no choice but to stock the not as pretty stuff up front"
"I love HEB, probably the best grocery store chain in Texas. We've recently used their pickup service during a recent bout of COVID. It's very helpful. I've also recently switched to their pharmacy. My primary care provider told me that HEB has negotiated the best prices for pharmaceuticals."
"Went to order balloons for my sons birthday on Sunday. Middle aged woman working in the floral department was too busy chatting & flirting with her boyfriend about her weekend plans to help customers. Stood there for 15 minutes before I had to go find another employee. They had to interrupt her conversation for her to take my order. She then had an attitude for the interruption."
"This store allows dogs in their store, regardless of their policy. I've seen multiple dogs in this store on several different occasions. None of the dogs had on "Sevice Dog" vest either time. I understand having a service dog however the manager I expressed my concerns to gave me some brush off answer about trusting these people " in good faith" that there dog was in fact a service dog and that they couldn't legally ask otherwise. I'm no lawyer but I would think the store has the right to at least ask if it was or wasn't and leave it at that especially if it had no vest. They seemed rather intimated and scared to do even that much. This is unfortunate for the " Real service dogs" out there not to add disappointing and disgusting!"
"I'm in the store on a Saturday morning and blown away by the amazing care of staff. I was quietly looking for a specific type of butter. I didn't ask for help and picked up an alternative. An employee Jose just popped over and asked "are you looking for the one in the red package"? Yes I was. He dashed off to bring an entire box from the shipping area. That is service at another level and I am so grateful. Thank you Jose!"
