"Okay, so someone who wants to go over there and pick something out quickly for their project, forget it. All the stuff you see on their website is stuff in Dallas. They don't have a showroom floor or anything. In fact if you want something you're going to have to preorder it and come back at another time or even call ahead and order it that way. I was disappointed because I was expecting to go in there and just pick up something, but there was nothing for me to get because there was nothing available."

"When I've ordered metal from them, they have been friendly, helpful, and the order was available quickly. But the big draw for me is their cutoff shelves: on your right after you walk in are the leftovers from larger orders they've fulfilled, which they sell for a few dollars a pound. Since I mostly mill small aluminum projects, I can get everything I need from those shelves cheaply and easily."
"The company I work for has used Metals4u for decades, so I thought I would give them a try for my personal projects. Well, what a great place! Over the past 6 months I’ve used them 4 or 5 times for my new outdoor kitchen and boat trailer modifications. Greg and Gabe are great to deal with. One time, I just needed a short length of 2” square tube for the inside of my outdoor kitchen to mount the electrical boxes to the cinder block, I found the perfect piece on their short lengths cart, I went to pay, and Greg said, “it’s on us, enjoy!”. Well, of course I needed to purchase other steel at the same for a new trailer project. They will also custom cut the metal to the required lengths. The guys that load the metal are also great to deal with. Looking forward to my next project that involves metal! Happy Holidays, Scott."
