"I am a solo female who just bought a home, and I was looking for a company to replace the tile floor in my bathroom. I met with several companies, and ultimately decided to go with Castle Flooring because they spent the most time explaining everything to me, let me take samples home to discuss with friends, and were reasonably priced. Julian was a huge part of why I decided on this company. He was patient with my questions, and helped me pick the right color tile. The installation process was smooth. They showed up on time, and completed it on time. They discussed which way to lay the tile with me before they started. Kept the house clean during the process. I checked on it the at the end of the first day, and felt slightly nervous since it didn't have the grout yet. It was hard to see what the finished product would look like. Once the grout was installed the next morning though, it looked amazing. I'm very happy with the install. I plan on replacing my wood floors at some point in the future, and will use this company for that project. Here are some before and after photos!"

"Julian and his team (Celso and Jesús) from Castle Flooring did an excellent job in our home. After visiting several flooring stores, we decided on Castle Flooring for several reasons. 1. Stephanie was very attentive and helpful in the showroom (a very quaint converted bungalow); despite not having an appointment, she walked me through the voluminous options that were on display. Their samples were also conveniently large, allowing me to see how the floors would look in our home. 2. They were very punctual in the follow up process, walking me through payment options and were very transparent on pricing. As I was on a bit of a budget, they itemized everything, allowing me to understand where the costs were coming from. 3. More on transparency: Julian never tried to up-sell me, but is clearly very passionate about his craft; occasionally I would ask if there was a cheaper alternative (for example, in a glue or process), and if there was, Julian would tell me, but would explain the potential drawbacks of doing so. More often than not, I went with his advice because even if it was more expensive, his explanation helped me understand why it was the prudent decision. 4. Additionally, Julian answered every question I had regarding protecting, maintaining, cleaning, etc. our new floor, which was very helpful because while there is a lot of advice online, getting it straight from a pro is preferable. 5. The Castle Flooring team was very cognizant of our time and living (and work-from-home!) situation; Julian recommended finding alternative living arrangements during the project (for obvious reasons) but because we could not do that, they made the experience as livable as possible. They always informed us when a particular part of the project would be loud and when we should attempt avoid the house (due to noise, dust, etc.). They did an excellent job dust-proofing our house; though not possible to avoid any mess, they did as well as one could expect. 6. Castle Flooring set and met expectations in terms of installation times and pricing, which was very helpful. Living through a reno like this is never easy, but knowing when each part of the project was beginning and ending made it do-able. 7. Castle Flooring makes custom stair noses, which not only look better than the rounded stair-noses that are often seen, they are higher quality and match the floor better (see photos). 8. They took great care to clean up after themselves and left our home cleaner than they found it. As seen in the photos, before the project we had an unsealed concrete floor (along with a third of the floors that had tile on top of the concrete) downstairs and a floating vinyl floor upstairs. Besides the removal of the flooring (which they allowed me to do myself to save on costs), the project required grinding of the concrete floor, leveling, screwing the sub-floor into the joists, and several other steps, many of which I would not have even known to ask for; while this added to the cost, it was invaluable, as it will made the finished project far better and likely longer lasting."
