About the Business

Brazos River Park is a 67-acre park located along the beautiful Brazos River in Sugar Land, Texas. This popular tourist attraction offers 3.3 miles of walking and mountain bike trails, a 9-hole disc golf course, and a playground area for children. Visitors can also enjoy the overlook/stage area, which can be reserved for special events, as well as picnic tables, barbecue grills, and benches throughout the park. The park features a unique mosaic of recycled glass tiles and a restroom facility for convenience.

In addition to all these amenities, Brazos River Park now offers an exciting zipline and treetop adventure experience for those looking for a thrilling adventure. Tickets can be purchased on site for this new attraction.

Please note that the canoe launch under U.S. Highway 59 is currently closed indefinitely due to road damage caused by high water levels in early 2019. However, there is still plenty to see and do at Brazos River Park, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

"Great place to walk. Parking near the sugarland water tower is better than the main entrance."

"It has 2 super cool slides, tall, my kid likes it. There's long bike trails, family can bike together. A Pavilion is near the playground, has many built-in barbecue grills, etc. Zip line ticket office is next to the playground. Overall it's a well designed park with many activities fit for all ages."

"Great park and playground. Lots of tables under a covered pavilion. Plenty of field space to run around and fly kites. There is a challenging part for the big kids and a separate toddler little kid part."

"Love this park. Good for a walk, jog or run. Short hikes possible too. There’s a long dirt track all along the park and some off the path trails take you down close to the Brazos River. If you’re lucky you’ll catch beautiful sunrise or sunsets."

"Brazos River Park can be accessed from either Highway 59 under the iconic Sugar Land Water Tower or adjacent Sugar Land Memorial Park. Seemingly less popular than its neighbor, this beautiful park offers a number of walking/biking paths, trails, and other places for family activities."
