"I've been a loyal customer at Cypress Ace Hardware for years, frequently turning to them for various needs. However, I've recently come to a realization that has left me feeling deeply dismayed and, frankly, ripped off, particularly regarding their propane filling service. Unlike most other vendors who charge for propane on a per-gallon basis (much like filling up your car at a gas station), Cypress Ace Hardware charges customers on a per tank basis. This wouldn't be an issue if the pricing reflected the actual amount of propane provided. But here's the catch: they fill the tanks to a specific poundage, determined on a scale, which often means less propane for more money. For years, I assumed this was the standard practice, only to discover that this is not how most vendors operate. This realization has been both frustrating and disappointing. It's unsettling to think about the amount of money I could have saved over the years had I been charged by the gallon, as is customary elsewhere. I've always championed Cypress Ace Hardware for their selection and service, but this issue has significantly marred my perception of their integrity and fairness in pricing. It's a letdown to feel taken advantage of, especially by a store where I've spent so much money and expected the highest standards of professionalism and honesty. To other customers who use their propane service: it might be worth comparing prices and practices with other local vendors. As for me, I'm reevaluating my patronage and considering taking my business elsewhere, where pricing practices are more transparent and customer-friendly."

"I stopped in to get a router and some fudge, there were employees everywhere and three of them asked me if I needed help, but the fudge counter was closed. Thankfully I was able to get a couple of the pre-packaged variety packs. Didn’t have the router I was looking for but I was also interested in looking at some of the knives, however the lady that helped me at the knife section was extremely rude, I only bought the fudge because her attitude made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Otherwise a pretty cool store. A little overpriced but I appreciate having a store like this around so I try to shop there when I can."

"This was the first time for me at this store. Employees were great. I had three people ask me if they could help me locate something. Everyone greeted you with a smile and a great attitude. The cashier was also very delightful. I was in and out of the store in no time."

"This place has so many cool things. I could literally take 1000 photos and it wouldn't even do this place justice. This has got to be the best hardware store in NW Houston. Forget the big guys, shop here instead. They will treat you better and actually help you."

"This is such a unique and cute looking Ace. They have gift shops featuring all kinds of amazing products, they have a Post Office. The staff is friendly and helpful. Best of all is the fudge shop,it features homemade fudge, bluebell icecream, and a few other delicious snacks. I highly recommend checking this Ace out."
