"This supply company cheats its customers. I had my employee buy limestone here last week and they gave her limestone pricing by weight. They then charged the weight of the palette on which the stone was weighed to the order even though palette wasn’t part of the order. My employee didn’t know any better and they took advantage of that. So to verify if this was a one-off oversight, I went to CMX Outdoor myself. I picked out the stone, helped their outside worker load some limestone on to a palette and checked the weight with him. Upon proceeding to pay - sure enough - the woman at the checkout desk had Not deducted weight of the palette from the order! When I called this out, there was a clear “Darn, I’m busted” look on her face. One of the owners that was watching all this also figured out they had been busted and tried to take over the situation. He proceeded to instruct his employee on the checkout process pretending they’ve never cheated customers before. But it was amply clear that this was regularly happening with his full knowledge. They removed the palette weight from my order - 40 lbs worth in case you’re wondering!!! Then I pointed out that they had charged my employee the wrong weight a week prior. That’s when all hell broke loose. Both he and his employee started double-teaming on me, challenging facts and trying brinksmanship. I did NOT back down and it took threats of reporting them to the police to get money back that they had wrongfully charged my employee. If you are a contractor buying from here, be very careful. They’re literally robbing unsuspecting buyers - most of whom that need to earn on a daily basis to put food on the table! And the woman at the front desk is a pit bull and will not hesitate to yell and scream if she’s backed in a corner. I hope legal authorities are watching and can take this business to task. Such illegal activities must not be allowed in our community!"

"Online, 1 yard of pea gravel costs $70. When I get there, they charged me $90 plus a "fuel charge" of $10, even though i picked it up myself, so it came out to be about $110. Needless to say, I'm going back to The Yard Depot on 290 and forgetting about this place. They do have a large selection, so 1 star for that."
