Working alongside the professionals there, they new instantly our vision for the wood bench we wanted to create. "As someone just getting back into woodworking this place is awesome! Danny was super knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me pick out this beautiful piece of Tiger Maple to go into the coffee nook I’m making and a finish to go with it. They have a large selection of live slab that kept tempting me to try my hand at table making and they offer a course on epoxy! Highly recommend!"

"My wife and I were looking for a locally made live edge dining table and researched it extensively. We decided to check out The Wood Shed in Arlington and we’re glad we did. As soon as we walked in they had two gorgeous table tops that were made, one live edge and another a traditional rectangular; both absolutely stunning! We decided to go with the live edge as that is what we really wanted, and the sides and edges were smoothed which we also wanted; yet they leafy these amazing little natural features that absolutely make the table. The epoxy used on it was a dark color that is transparent and it’s stunning. The wood is monkeypod wood and looks like a walnut which we also love. We picked out the kegs we wanted and within two weeks had it delivered to our home by their carefully skilled workers that did a fantastic job. The table was also well protected and they were beyond cautious with it. It truly was a white glove delivery service. Wow, we just love it. It’s absolutely gorgeous and will be an heirloom in the family. We highly recommend The Wood Shed for your wood needs. Fun fact: The Wood Shed also offers courses to ale your own table, charcuterie boards, cutting boards etc, or to hone up your own woodworking skills that we plan to attend in the near future."
