"My car was involved in a hit and run and my insurance required me to go to Gene Messer Collision Center (Gerber) as their preferred provider to get an estimate. The collision estimator, Monica Miranda, was terribly unprofessional. I had first taken my vehicle to collision King for an estimate before finding out my insurance required me to have Gene Messer look at it first. I explained what happened to my car and Monica‘s first reaction was, “how do you know Collision King did not do this damage to your car”? She went on to say, “well this is not a new car, so there’s no telling how long this damage has actually been here anyway. I don’t really see much of an issue with it.” She gave me an estimate for less than 1/3 of the quote I got from Collision King. She simply omitted some large repairs by excusing them as, “who knows how long this has been there?” I would never use the shop and would encourage Gene Messer to find Monica a more Suitable position for her that does not involve customer service."
