Discount Tire

"Hayden helped me out today. He was so kind and so helpful. I had an appointment at 4:15, they got me in right away, fixed my tire for free, and had me out of there before 5pm, even though they were packed. I love Discount Tire already, but my trip in today reiterated why. I’m so happy this particular Discount is the one closest to me because everyone I encountered today was incredibly courteous. Thank you guys!"

"I have trusted Discount Tire with our families tires for over 20 years. The team here in Selma has ALWAYS Been courteous, professional, and have always worked with me to find the right price on a tire. Their warranty is amazing. One time I came in because I needed three new tires, and it barely cost me anything because evidently when I bought the tires initially one of the servicemen talked me into the warranty. I forgot I even had it.today I came in for a flat tire and they took the time to find a little hole and ran it through several times to make sure that it was tight before I drove off. Jacob today was great and the staff here is always amazing. Don't trust your tires anywhere else come here first."

"Tesla owner here. I’ve purchased ALL my tires for my trucks, cars, trailers, etc. exclusively from Discount and have grown to trust them. Arrived for a ‘free tire repair on a tire that’s about three months old and has never been repaired, a small screw punctured the the center portion of the treads. Manager claimed that ‘the prior repair was done incorrectly’ and that they couldn’t take the risk of repairing the puncture again, that they couldn’t take the dangerous risk of putting the tire back on and sending me to my certain death, and my only option was a nearly $500 tire, if I wanted to leave, of course. Trouble is, the tire was new, never repaired, and if it had been, the prior shop probably would have removed the screw as part of the repair. I’m not a certified tire tech, but such are my assumptions. They fought me on reinstalling the tire, I demanded they do so, and we went to a competitor that promptly repaired the damage. I asked the technician about the ‘prior repair’ and he looked confused, stating that there were no prior repairs, just the screw. This exact scenario played out at a different Discount Tire in Austin about six months ago, I assumed it was a fluke. Discount was once run by honest folks that earned my trust. The new crowd appears to be seeking to cash in on that trust. It hurts to have to dump a company that I trusted so thoroughly, but clearly, times have changed for the worse! If you own a Tesla, please beware of this scam, and understand that you can demand they put the tire back on, despite their warnings that doing so will result in your certain death and destruction."

"Solid tire shop! Always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They don’t have a huge selection of tires but will be able to give you a few options. One thing they could work on is keeping in communication with the customer about the pick up time, I was told 1230 and was waiting another 45 minutes on top of that which is always unfortunate. I heard three other customers with this problem while I waited."

"Super upset, while the guy who checked me in was super patient while I sorted out an issue with my bank. I am completely dissatisfied that I paid for four brand new tires and one is completely flat only a few hours after leaving and now they are closed until Monday. Why weren’t my tires checked to ensure pressure was correct and that the tires were good. *edited to add photos to show how 7 hours later my tire had no air"
