"This review outlines my experience working with Beena on bridal hair and make up. My intention in writing this review is sharing an honest and objective review so future brides can make an informed decision. Beena arrived on time and got the job done. However, the overall experience was very poor and I would not recommend it. Four things stood out to me: (1) Quality of Foundation I have had several bridal events, and Beena got me ready for my valima (the last one). Never before has my foundation literally melted away and become waxy like it did with the product Beena used. It was so embarrassing looking at myself at the end of the event and seeing my make up so spotty and greasy. I have normal (not oily) skin, and my sister in law (who also got her make up done by Beena) had the same issue. (2) Dupatta Setting Beena pinned my dupatta in a way that not only dragged on the floor, but the pins were also showing. The pins were so poorly placed that the photographer literally had to ask me to set my dupatta again (because it was showing awkwardly in all the pictures). Even this is fine-- everyone makes mistakes. But Beena tried to convince me that the shape of my dupatta was wrong (it was a rectangle, as all bridal dupattas are....) and she fumbled through fixing it with help from my family. My friends and family had to put in a lot of work re-pinning what she did even after she left. It was also slipping off towards the end of the event. Again, this has never happened to me at any other bridal event. (3) Attitude I found Beena very difficult to work with because any meaningful feedback was met with a sassy comment or aggression. There were at least 5 other people in the room with me, and they agreed that Beena was aggressive when we asked her to fix anything from foundation color to dupatta setting to even hair. When you pay for a service, you shouldn't have to deal with a poor attitude. My teen sister in law asked for a "more light and natural" coverage for foundation, and Beena's response was "that's not what we're doing today." We were all really disappointed by the way she engaged with us towards the end, and she was clearly rushing to leave for her next appointment vs listening to what we wanted her help on. (4) Record Keeping I also had an extremely poor experience with Beena prior to the event. She had collected a deposit from my mother in law before covid, and she couldn't find it in her records even after we tracked down the exact check number. That matter was eventually resolved, and I gave another deposit to secure some slots for my family to get their make up done too. Then, twice Beena incorrectly stated how much deposit I had given (she said $100 while I had paid $150). It doesn't seem that there is any form of record-keeping on the back end, and that's something others should know about if they are going to give this vendor a deposit. You need to keep records of everything or else you may end up overpaying. Overall, again, not a service I would recommend for your special day."

"This experience for me has been one of the best! I had my photoshoot hair and makeup done by Beena. She did an amazing job and was very patient with me. I was so pleased with her work and I have asked her to my bridal hair and makeup. Very professional and clean. They have many other services available. I would definitely recommend this place!"
