"I come for the hygienist, AJ. She's so thorough and makes me want to take care of my teeth. This is necessary, as I have no idea who my dentist is, but there is a guy who pops in for less than 30 seconds, bills my insurance for an exam, anf doesn't follow up on the last thing he vaguely mentions. He then throws something else out there he wants me to make an appointment for, but doesn't explain what for, as he did yesterday. I knew my original dentist, who, if he was still there, would be following up on a couple of areas of concern he brought up every time. Your hygienists are definitely carrying your practice at this location."

"I love my hygienist AJ as she is very thorough, very sincere and she really cares. My only disappointment is when I call to schedule in front desk, the hold is so long you have to spend almost an hour to get hold of a real person. I do not know if there is changes in management but there is definitely a change in efficiency and flow when booking appointment. It used to be organize and staff at front desk seem to know what they are doing. I do not have issues with service though. I love AJ and Dr Horea."

"This office does not deserve any stars but Google gives them 1 star not me as the customer. On 2.6.2024, I had an appointment with Carus Dental 16000 Park Valley Dr. Ste. 100 Round Rock, TX 78681 at 8 AM. I was told that I needed to pay $1200 out of pocket before going in back for an appointment. I told them they are aware I am a Veteran, the VA has approved of it. The front desk girl refuses to let me speak to the manager, Dr. , Asst. Manager, or anyone of Authority. I mentioned I took a Uber which cost me $35. I was not told of a payment plan yesterday when they made my appointment yesterday in person. The front desk told me they had a meeting before 8 am and notes was placed in the system to give me the only option of $500 down and remaining when the tooth comes in. I told them they know the VA is Net30 contract which pays once a month. I was willing to go out of pocket until the VA pay but can not folk $500 down and remaining when the tooth comes in. The front desk was rude, did not give all information yesterday so I can make a sound decision. This behavior has placed an uncomfortable well being of me as a customer, patient, and a Veteran getting treatment. I have served 3 tours in Iraq and will tell you this is not professional. I have contacted the White House Office for Veterans with the complaint, Senator, Congressman, and Attorney General's office for them to investigate. I hope the VA re-evaluate their contract with that specific office room #100. If this is the treatment with Veterans then it is beyond unacceptable, disrespectful. Do not ask me to call the office when I was up there this morning in person, was told can not be seen after they made the appointment and left out details. I informed them this is not how you run a professional business, unacceptable, and other Veterans need to be aware so they will not endure the same treatment. Let this be known, this is not the first unacceptable treatment from this office. There is paperwork to back up the prior unfair treatment. I agree with Todd Fitzgerald's review. This is a behavior that has been going on for the min. 2 years. UNACCEPTABLE!!!"

"My review comes after a lot of wait and follow up. The medical staff who treats the patients has been great. I greatly admire. I really wish i did not have to give a review as the medical treatment was just fine. I suffer due to whatever transition is going on between Dental and Surgical offices. Getting a referral is an uphill task and almost impossible. I kept getting billed for my husbands treatment, while we both had different insurance. and correcting was a very difficult process. Cancellation will come at poor notice with no courtesy follow up or reschedule. Whoever takes these calls is when i call in may not be in great mood. I am often left with feeling low after the interaction."

"I have been with Carus Dental for a while. Today, I was following up on a tooth implant I had received a few weeks ago. I found out this morning from my insurance that the implant isn't covered under a "missing tooth" clause, and I am on the hook for the full amount. This should have been something they were aware of when they gave me the estimate. That is not why I'm leaving a one-star review, however. The reason I am leaving a one-star review is because today, when I showed up, I checked into my appointment fifteen minutes early and took a seat in the waiting room. I waited and waited and waited. At 11:30, approximately 45 minutes after I arrived, I asked the receptionist what was going on with my 11 o'clock appointment and she looked genuinely shocked that there was anyone even in the room waiting despite the fact that I was sitting in plain view the whole time. The woman who checked me in said that she had already had me back, and had marked me as "finished" despite the fact that I was not called back or seen or presumably even noticed in the waiting room for 45 minutes. I have never felt so invisible and uncared for in my life. It was already a bad enough day. Considering that I am about to shell out nearly $4000 for a procedure that I was told would be covered, I would expect them to at least acknowledge my presence when I'm there. This is the bare minimum I would ask of any business."
