Round Rock Dentists

"It really makes me sad to write this review because I don’t ever like to put businesses down, but I am really disappointed in the amount I’m paying for a procedure I need to have done now as a complication from a filling that was done at this office. In November last year, I switched to a dentist ant this office after already getting my annual exams and fillings elsewhere because I needed help with some tooth pain from prior. While I was there, the dentist (who is no longer there) did some X-rays and said I needed a filling on a different tooth. I had no pain on that tooth but agreed because I trusted her medical opinion. She did the filling and for days after, I noticed worsening pain and temperature sensitivity. I followed up a month later as my symptoms were getting worse. At my next appointment (the dentist who did my filling already left the practice at this point), I was told that the cavity and filling were pretty deep and I probably needed a root canal. I was frustrated to find this out and proceeded to schedule a root canal (at a different office because their endodontist only comes once a month) which I had done without complications. However, I did need a crown on this tooth following the root canal. I went back to Round Rock Dentists to be evaluated for the crown and I was quoted $855. It’s unfortunate that I have to pay this amount for a complication from a procedure I had at this office. I am in the medical field and understand complications can happen from procedures, but having to pay for it is a whole other issue. Hoping I can save someone else from this nightmare. Will update later after I’ve had the crown done."

"It was suggested that I need a deep cleaning. The dentist office refused to schedule a regular cleaning until this was done. I’m sure it’s ‘required’ since it cost $1400 and isn’t just my regular cleaning that would not make them any money. Especially after they already billed insurance for the 5 year X-rays… so disappointed after hoping for a good experience. Finding a new dental office."

"I went for a dental cleaning and the dental hygienist named Tysha was extremely rude since the moment she saw me. I asked a question, and as the visit progressed her attitude got worse and worse. It got to the point where she was actually hurting me and I could taste the blood in my mouth (even tho I regularly floss) because she was too rough. When I told her that it was painful she got really upset and for a moment I thought that she was going to slap me. After that the dentist got to the room and I mentioned to him what she did, but he didn’t seem to care. I have had many dental cleanings but never a bad experience like this. I would never return or recommend this clinic to anyone."

"I would highly recommend this dental office to my friends and family. I was in a lot of pain and they were able to give me an appointment pretty quickly. They addressed my toothache on the same day and I scheduled to go back for more treatments. My dentist, Dr. Farrar, was very caring and professional, and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Also my hygienist, Melissa, did an amazing job with my cleaning. The front desk ladies and the assistants were very friendly and helpful as well."

"Over the years, I have visited many dental offices and had good and bad experiences. I also have high dental anxiety. This office by far is one of the best. They got me in fairly quickly and everyone I encountered was very kind. The dentist, Dr. Farrah, was very knowledgeable and caring and explained everything in great details. I felt that she was very honest and wasn’t trying to sell or being pushy which I really liked about her. I will return for additional treatment."
