"There aren’t enough words for me to explain what a ripoff this place is…and they’re completely unethical. I don’t even write reviews, but the manager BEGGED me to give a 5-star review, and I knew immediately this was how I got swindled (the reviews) and had to share my experience. I took my car to this location because my other location was closed, and they had high ratings at the time. (I see now why the rating has dropped significantly over the THREE WEEEKS (when I was told it would be 10 days) time they had my vehicle. The manager overcommitted, under delivered and COMPLETELY ripped me off, as well as my insurance company. I was told the quality of work would supersede the quality of previous work by my other company, but it did not. Not only were there imperfections in the paint, some of the things that were to be fixed or corrected were not. I was told to bring back my vehicle for even MORE days to get my insurance company to pay even more money, but I refused. I was so angry when I picked up my vehicle I didn’t even want to deal with them again, but even the opportunity to fix what was promised was another opportunity to make more money from both me and my insurance company. No estimate was given for an additional repair I’d requested, but the cost I was charged was four times the amount I was previously quoted at another MAACO. Because it had already been there 2 weeks at that point, I authorized the work and was told an even higher price for pickup, but again, I refused, so he went back to the original price (which was still four times the amount I was quoted at another MAACO). And again, not all of the requested work was done. I horribly regret my decision to take my vehicle to this place. I’ve been left both angry and sorely disappointed. PLEASE believe me; you will regret a decision to patronize this establishment. This has been the WORST experience I’ve EVER had with a body shop. The manager is clearly a high-pressure, intimidating, salesman who only demonstrates charisma to mislead you. This has been an utter nightmare."

"These guys did an outstanding job on my 10 yr old Toyota 4Runner. The hood and top were peeling from the sun it gets every day. I decided to repaint the entire car. Best decision I could have made! Chris was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. They have my business from now on. Thank you!"

"I had one of the most horrible experiences at Macao on Highway 6 than I have had at any merchant. I trusted them with my 1976 Cadillac Deville and they kept my car for over 3 weeks after telling me it would only take a week to paint it. When I finally got my car there was tremendous overspray all over my car. After expressing my concern to the owner/manager he passed off my concerns and only deducted $9 from my over $2700 bill after telling me that he would deduct a substantial amount due to the lack of detail and attention that was placed on my car and the amount of time they kept my car. Really??? Then they broke my original Cadillac key and made a duplicate without informing me. How many other duplicates did they make????? The most unprofessional staff! Then one of the employees had the nerve to tell me that if I wanted a better paint job I should have taken my car somewhere else. Very rude, very unprofessional, very disrespectful!!!! I would not take any of my vehicles to this location ever again."

"They had no shuttle driver for a day. So I was stuck home. Only after I mentioned the BBB the owner helped out. So that is poor service when it comes to shuttle service. Just to say: I don’t have a shuttle driver for 2 days doesn’t help at all . The paint job was ok . Hood had to be repainted because it had imperfections. The manager tried to convince me that one stage can be sloppy and imperfect. After all these hurdles I got an acceptable one stage paint job. Body work was included in the 2050$ job ."
