"They saved me $2,100. First, let me say thank you to Tommy and Ethan for your expertise. About a month ago my car started shaking while braking at high speeds. A near by dealership worked on my brakes last year (2022) so I took my Tucson back to the dealership service department thinking it was still under warranty…unfortunately the warranty had just expired. So I decided to have the dealership replace my front rotors, pads and other needed maintenance, since I was there. When I left the dealership, the car was shaking 10x worse than when I arrived that morning and that is not an over dramatize description. “Ten times worse.” I immediately returned my SUV to the dealer's service department but was then told I needed a new steering rack, $2,100. I just paid $1,270 earlier that same day. So I decided that evening to get a second opinion. The following morning, at 6:56am, I arrived at Mike Tate’s 99 and Tommy test drove my SUV. He was totally shocked the dealership service team allowed me to leave with that amount of front wheel shaking. Ethan, Mike Tate's 99 technician, then discovered my “new” rotors were badly warped. I immediately drove my SUV back to the dealership with a proper diagnosis from Mike Tate’s 99 and they replaced the rotors. My car brakes as it should, now. WOW! "Huge thanks to Eric. Unfortunately forgot the other man’s name who helped me out, but great service regardless. Had another shop do loose work, came into Mike’s expecting to have an alternator replaced. They let me know everything was alright, just a small terminal issue, and most importantly, they only charged me a diagnostic fee instead of the extra labor. Great shop, I bring all my cars here time to time & never leave disappointed in the quality of work and customer service."

"Please don't go here! This place almost took me for $2000 and I'm glad I got a second opinion! I had an issue with a drive belt and what I thought was the compressor and the car would not start. I had it towed here and after checking they informed me that the compressor had locked up which broke the belt. And needed to do flush as well. All in it was $1800. Definitely a much higher price than other place I called and got a quote from for the same service. Eventually I had the car sent to Christian brothers who replaced the belt and tensioner and said the compressor was running fine and that this shop had tried to add completely unnecessary repairs and pretty much tried to screw me over. Do not listen to what these guys say and avoid at all costs"
