"Brought in one quart of my own oil additive, i asked if they would discount the rate, and the guy said they would, but when I got the bill it had not been cause their system doesnt allow to change the quarts for a service so i paid full price even though i brought 1 quart of my own. Complained and the manager seemingly fixed things by providing a discount next visit."

"Timely and professional oil change. Charged me $50 to spend 5 minutes to replace a $20 cabin air filter. That’s charging $600/hr to turn two plastic caps. Must be nice. I won’t be letting them doing anything other than oil from now on."

"On 1/6/24, Take 5 in Helotes, TX attempted to perform a basic synthetic oil change on our fairly new vehicle (22K) miles. On 1/7/24, I was left dangerously stranded after my oil was completely depleted and several lights on my vehicle were present. This was due to Take 5 not performing the oil change up to standards. The shop manager was notified by the assistant manager and did not reach out immediately to apologize and speak with us. Rather he kept in contact only with the AM. was not apologetic and lacked empathy during this time. The district manager was also notified according to the shop manager but did not reach out immediately either. Outcome, vehicle was towed, another oil change performed. We do not trust their work and would like to take the vehicle to our dealership for a full diagnostic check at their expense, which we were promised. They stated a claim would be filed and a refund would be issued within 24 hours. We have yet to receive either as promised. Customer care is non-existent with this company. We will never take our vehicle to Take 5 again as they lack customer service skills and do not take ownership of their mistakes."
