"Having vehicle problems while traveling is terrible. There’s a problem, you are in unfamiliar territory without access to your trusted mechanic, and you have a schedule. I’ve had some truly terrible experiences in the past, but today I had a great experience. True, the truck still had a brake problem, but we lucked into finding Horizon Automotive. My co-traveler called around, and someone recommended Horizon. Horizon was close to where we were, so we headed there. Horizon does not have what you would call curb appeal but, as the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. The owner was very polite and immediately dived in. Turns out the fix was pretty simple (replace a caliper mounting bolt had come out), so we were back on the road 45 minutes later. I sometimes work on my own vehicles, so know enough to appreciate someone who has mastered the trade. Highly recommend."
